Old Glory Waves Over Glendale Garden

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are shown saluting the American flag as it is raised at the new flagpole installed at the Glendale Community Garden on 88th Street near 74th Avenue last month. As noted, the flag pole was donated by Mike and Katherina Siciliano and Rita Voudouris, while Abraham Markowitz of the nearby Yeshiva Gedolah Seminary donated the flag. Members of Cub Scout Pack 349 presented the color guard during the ceremony.
