Fastrack, the MTA’s overnight maintenance service, is back in Queens this week, involving the E, M and R subway lines.
There is no service at the 36th Street, Steinway Street, 46h Street, Northern Boulevard and 65th Street stations in Queens from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. weeknights until early Friday morning Aug. 16.
E and R trains run express in both directions between Queens Plaza and Roosevelt Avenue, M service ends early each night between Forest Hills, 71st Avenue and Essex Street.
Free shuttle buses run local between Queens Plaza and 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue, making station stops at Queens Plaza, Queensborough Plaza, 36th Street, Steinway Street, 46th Street, Northern Boulevard and 65th Street and at Queensboro Plaza for the No. 7 and N or Queens Plaza for the E and R.
Regular late night R service operates in Brooklyn only between 36th and 95th streets. M shuttle trains operate between Metropolitan and Myrtle avenues all night.
