RICHMOND HILL — Two men are wanted in connection with a violent robbery, the NYPD said.

According to police, a 59-year-old man was approached by two suspects July 29 at around 11:10 p.m. near the intersection of Jamaica Avenue and 134th Street.

After the pair demanded money and the victim handed over his cash, the duo allegedly demanded more cash, police said.

But when the victim said he did not have anymore money, the suspects allegedly punched him in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head, the NYPD said. The men then fled with the victim’s money and cellphone, according to cops.

Their victim was brought to Jamaica Hospital, where he was initially listed in stable condition, police said.

Both suspects are described as black men in their 20s and between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-10. One was last seen wearing a black skull cap, a black T-shirt and black pants. The other was last seen wearing dark pants and a button-down shirt.
