SOUTH JAMAICA — A 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in an elevator in the South Jamaica Housing Development last weekend, police said.
The man police identified as a suspect was captured on a disturbing video entering the elevator at about 7:30 a.m. and putting his arm around the teen before allegedly assaulting her, according to the NYPD.
When the elevator reached the girl’s floor, she screamed and the man, described in his early 20s and about 5 feet 8 inches tall, fled, police said.
He was last seen wearing jeans, a black and white T-shirt and a black and white baseball cap, cops said.
