Mireille Leroy
Mireille Leroy is a Haitian immigrant who organizes humanitarian trips through the non-profit she founded, Yes We Can for Progress. She previously mounted an unsuccessful campaign for the seat in 2009. She lives in South Jamaica.
Ruben Wills
Ruben Wills is the incumbent Council member, having won the seat in a special election in 2010 after the death of Councilman Thomas White. He previously served as chief of staff to former state Sen. Shirley Huntley.
