Students and faculty at Sacred Heart School in Glendale wore red on Friday, Feb. 7, in observance of Go Red For Women Day, which is meant to raise awareness about heart disease in women. Kids and adults alike brought in donations to support the American Heart Association. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the United States, claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined, it was noted. Pictured among the students is teacher Jennifer Mazzarelli, who coordinated the special day.
