Police are looking for a man who they say tried to kidnap an 11-year-old boy in Flushing Friday.

The boy was waiting to be picked up after school about 2:35 p.m. at the corner of Colden Street and 45th Avenue when a 40-year-old man pulled up in a car and told the victim to get inside, authorities said.

“Get in the car. I’ll take you somewhere nice upstate,” the suspect said, according to police.

When the victim refused, the man got out of the car, grabbed him by the hands and tried to pull him inside the car, cops said.

The victim’s father showed up and foiled the plans. Police said the suspect fled north in a dark blue four door sedan on Colden Street.

The suspect was described by police as Asian with short black hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 and has dark skin and a goatee.

The man was last seen wearing a blue multi-colored sweatshirt and brown slacks.
