Suspect passed phony checks in SE Queens: Cops

JAMAICA — Cops were looking for a suspect they said is wanted for passing fake checks.

Police said the suspect deposited two phony checks for $3,000 into a Capital One bank Jan. 10 and then made multiple withdrawals from the account.
