Members of the Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association (WRBA) rolled up their sleeves and cleaned up a Forest Park playground last Saturday, May 3. Civic members and local youths removed many bags of debris and litter from Mary Whalen Playground, located off the corner of Park Lane South and 79th Street. The volunteers are pictured above with, among others, WRBA President Martin Colberg, Vice President Giedra Kregdzys and Treasurer Stephen Forte.
