ROBERT PAULSAPHIER died on Thursday, June 5, at the age of 70. He
was the beloved husband of Evelyn K. Saphier, loving son of Lilian and the
late Frederick Saphier, dear brother of Judith Zeichner and cherished uncle
of Christine. A private cremation was held on Saturday, June 7, at Fresh
Pond Crematory, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

DONALD WIELCHUL died on Thursday, June 5, at the age of 76. He
was the beloved husband of Patricia Wielchul, loving father of Jennifer
Wielchul and Susan Gebhardt and cherished brother of Valerie Czochanski
and the late Patricia Palamara and Beatrice Reilly. He was a U.S. Navy
veteran who served in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered on Monday, June 9, at St. Matthias Church,
Ridgewood, followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery,
Calverton, L.I., under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand
Ave., Maspeth.

MARYLOU DAGNELL died on Wednesday, June 4, at the age of 88. She
was the wife of the late Ralph P. Dagnell, loving mother of Nicholas R.
Dagnell and Marie DeSena, cherished grandmother of Christine and
Danielle, great-grandmother of Nicholas and Taylor and dear sister of
Yvonne Ledbetter. AMass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, June
7, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Williamsburg, followed by

was the beloved daughter of Dawn and Robert W. Mascale, loving sister of
Briana Mascale, Cecilia Mascale and Christine Mascale, cherished niece of
Stephen and Donna Mascale, Thomas and Barbara Bulger and Deborah
Howe and dear cousin of Christina, Stephen, Tabatha, Michael, Sabrina,
Michele, John, Samantha, Andrea, Shawn and Justin. She was a friend to

the age of 61. A native of Assiut, Egypt, he was the beloved husband of
Soad and devoted father of Makar Naguib and Aida Naguib. A Divine

VICTORIA T. KELLY of Ridgewood died on Wednesday, June 4, at the
age of 60. A native of Brooklyn, she was the devoted mother of Jennifer
Mazzio, Daniel Kelly, Anthony Mazzio and Evelyn Bartok and dear sister
of Donald Richard and Terence Richard. She is also survived by one

PETER T. AMERES of Brooklyn died on Friday, June 6, at the age of 65. A native of Brooklyn, he was the beloved
husband of Joan, devoted father of Charles Ameres and dear brother of Fanny Ameres, Joseph Ameres and Ludwig
Ameres. He was a former trustee of St. Aloysius Church, Ridgewood, and a member of its parish council. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered at St. Aloysius Church, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village,
under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.

PETER C. PAGANO, age 88, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., formerly of Glendale and New Hyde Park, NY, passed peacefully
from this world on Saturday, May 24, with his devoted wife of 66 years, Frances, at his side. A veteran of the Second
World War, Peter served in General Patton’s Third Army, 89th Infantry Division. He participated in the Allied crossing
of the Rhine River among other campaigns. A proud small businessman, Peter found Page Printing Company in 1949.
It remained a fixture in the Ridgewood commercial community for fifty years. In his earlier years, Peter was active in
several civic and fraternal organizations including American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lions Club, Glendale
Chamber of Commerce and UNICO. In addition to his wife Frances, Peter is survived by his three children , Frank
(Patricia), Angela (Edward) and Peter, six grandchildren Karen, Gregory, Peter, Elizabeth, Stephanie & Catherine and
Five great grandchildren Emily, Michael, Mallory, Courtney & Cameron. Viewing was held on Sunday, June 1, at
Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on
Monday, June 2, St. Aidan Church, 505 Willis Ave., Williston Park, NY, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery,
Middle Village.

late Jan Kozlowski, loving mother of Edward, Helena and the late Anatol and cherished grandmother of Nicole,

Grimaldi, adored brother and best friend of John Grimaldi, cherished grandson of Robert and Lucille Luizzi and Anne
