More Disruptions Affect The 7 Line

There will be no 7 train service between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square-42nd Street this weekend, from 2 a.m. Saturday, June 7, until 4:30 a.m. Sunday, June 8.

During this period, 7 trains will operate between Main Street- Flushing and Queensboro Plaza, but will operate every 12 minutes in both directions on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Additionally, Q trains will operate extended service to and from Ditmars Boulevard on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.

For alternate service between Queens and Manhattan, transfer to the N or Q trains at Queensboro Plaza or Times Square-42nd Street or the E, F or R trains at 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue.

Shuttle buses will replace 7 trains in Long Island City between Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue. The buses will stop at the Queens Plaza station for ADA access to the E or R trains.

The shuttle buses will stop as follows:

– Queensboro Plaza-on 28th Street at Queens Plaza South;

– Queens Plaza-on 42nd Road at Jackson Avenue;

– Court Square-23rd Street-on Jackson Avenue at 45th Avenue (to Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue) or at Thomson Avenue (to Queensboro Plaza);

– Hunters Point Avenue-on 21st Street at 49th Avenue; and

– Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue-on Vernon Boulevard at 50th Avenue.

E & F Trains Skip

Several Qns. Stops

Manhattan-bound F trains will skip the Sutphin Boulevard, Van Wyck Boulevard and 75th Avenue stations this weekend, from 11:45 p.m. Friday, June 6, until 10 p.m. Saturday, June 7.

For service to these stations, take the F train to Union Turnpike or 71st- Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Jamaica-bound F train. For service from these stations, take the F train to Union Turnpike or Parsons Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound F train.

Additionally, Manhattan-bound E and F trains will skip the Van Wyck Boulevard and 75th Avenue stations late nights on Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 10:15 p.m. until 5 a.m. During this period, Manhattan-bound F trains will also skip the Sutphin Boulevard stop.

For service to these stations, take the E train to Union Turnpike or 71st- Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound E or F train. For service from these stations, take the E train to Union Turnpike or Jamaica-Van Wyck or the F train to Union Turnpike or Parsons Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E or F train.

More Split Service On L Line In Bklyn.

The last stop for alternating Canarsie-bound L trains will be Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues on Thursday, June 5, Friday, June 6, and Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Riders can transfer between Canarsie-bound L trains at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues to continue their trip.

It was noted that L trains to Canarsie will operate every 12 minutes.

Late Night Changes On E Line In Queens

Jamaica Center-bound E trains will operate local service between Queens Plaza and 71st-Continental Avenues beginning at 10:30 p.m. tonight, Thursday, June 5. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time .

Additionally, Manhattan-bound E trains will run express service between 71st-Continental Avenues and Queens Plaza late nights on Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. These trains will stop at Roosevelt Avenue.

Furthermore, Manhattan-bound R trains will run express service between 71st-Continental Avenues and Queens Plaza on Monday through Thursday from 10 to 11 p.m.

For service to the 67th Avenue, 63rd Drive, Woodhaven Boulevard, Grand Avenue, Elmhurst Avenue, 65th Street, Northern Boulevard, 46th Street, Steinway Street and 36th Street stations, take the E or R train to Roosevelt Avenue or Queens Plaza, then transfer to a Jamaica Centerbound E train or a Forest Hills-bound R train. For service from these stations, take the E or R train to Roosevelt Avenue or 71st-Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E or R train.

Station Renewal Comes To A Line

The Ozone Park/Far Rockawaybound platform at the 88th Street station and the Ozone Park-bound platform at the 101st Street station on the A line remain shut through August as part of an ongoing station renewal project.

For service to the 88th Street station, take the A train to Rockaway Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train. For service to the 101st Street station, take a Lefferts Boulevard/Ozone Parkbound A train to 111th Street, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train.

For service from these stations, take the A train to either Rockaway Boulevard or 80th Street, then transfer to an Ozone Park-bound or a Far Rockaway-bound A train.

Fastrack Repairs Hit N, Q, R Lines

The MTA’s Fastrack maintenance program will affect N, Q and R trains through Manhattan late nights on Thursday and Friday, June 5-6, from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

During this period, N trains will run in two sections: between Stillwell Avenue and Court Street, making all local stops; and between Queensboro Plaza and Ditmars Boulevard. There will be no R train service between 71st-Continental Avenues and Whitehall Street; R trains will only run in Brooklyn between 36th Street and Bay Ridge-95th Street.

Q trains will operate normally between Stillwell Avenue and DeKalb Avenue, then run on the D line between DeKalb Avenue and 47th- 50th Streets and on the F line between 47th-50th Streets and 57th Street, where it will terminate.

With R train service ending early, M trains will make all stops between Queens Plaza and 71st-Continental Avenues through midnight each night.

Riders are advised to use the 7, E or F train as alternate service between Queens and Manhattan.
