ASTORIA — Police were hunting for whoever shot two men sitting in a car in Astoria, the NYPD said.
The suspect allegedly fired at the pair, grazing a 24-year-old man in the head and striking a 23-year-old man in the head and shoulder while they sat in a vehicle at 25th Avenue and Brooklyn-Queens Expressway late in the evening of June 20, according to cops.
After the shooting, the suspect then took the victims’ wallets, which had cash and credit cards inside.
Both victims were taken to Elmhurst Hospital, police said.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned black man wearing a dark-colored ski cap.
