Man found dead on top of Flushing elevator

FLUSHING — A man was found dead Wednesday afternoon in a Flushing apartment building, wedged between the top of an elevator car and a refrigerator, police said.

The NYPD responded to a 911 call just after 1 p.m. and found the man in the elevator shaft, at 41-90 Frame Place, with severe body trauma.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the incident was still under investigation Wednesday afternoon.
