Restaurant Week Starts In Glendale

Some of Queens’ finest eateries offered free samples of their tasty treats to scores of guests during the Queens Restaurant Week extravaganza on Monday, Oct. 6, at The Shops at Atlas Park in Glendale. Organized by the Queens Economic Development Corporation and the Queens Tourism Council, the event promoted the nearly month-long campaign to bring customers to participating restaurants and bars across the borough. More than 200 restaurants are participating this year, and will offer three-course, prix fixe lunches from $14 per person to dinners at $28 per person. Queens Restaurant Week runs from Oct. 13 to Oct. 30; depending on the venue, the specials will be offered on weekdays, weekends or both.
