A Jamaica man is dead following an altercation with his girlfriend Wednesday night, cops said.
Police, responding to a 911 call of a man stabbed, arrived at the 155th Street home of the victim, 46-year-old Michael Harris, at about 9:50 p.m., cops said. Inside, they found him with several stab wounds to the torso.
Harris was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 33-year-old woman, identified by police as Harris’ girlfriend, Carmen Rodriguez, was taken into custody from the home the two shared, authorities said. The couple allegedly got into a physical altercation before the stabbing.
She was later charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.
