A search warrant executed in the 102nd Precinct turned up narcotics and more than $2,000 in cash in a residential home that houses a day-care center in Woodhaven, police said.
Police arrested Michael Gomez, 24, who lives at 85-09 88th Ave., and his friend, Selestino Rodriguez, 23, who lives at 61-01 Bleecker St. in Ridgewood, Thursday morning at about 5:15 a.m., according to police. The warrant was granted following an investigation involving narcotic sales at the location, they said.
Gomez’s parents run a day-care center on the first floor of the 88th Avenue home.
Police recovered roughly 7 ounces of MDMA, 4 ounces of marijuana and $2,438 in the basement, where Gomez and Rodriguez were found, the NYPD said.
Gomez’s parents live on the first floor, while more family members live on the second floor, police said.
