ST. ALBANS — The Gulf gas station at 79-10 Springfield Blvd. on the border of St. Albans and Laurelton was burglarized at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the NYPD.
The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the man who forcibly entered the gas station office and fled with about $40,000 in cash, the police said.
The suspect was identified as a black man, who exited a gray vehicle that appeared to be a Toyota Prius, though police did not identify the make of the vehicle. The suspect then walked up to the gas station office, and after forcibly removing the cash, returned to the vehicle and fled with another unidentified man, according to police.
