WOODHAVEN — With the recent spate of suspicious fires in Forest Hills, FDNY officials put out an all-hands call Wednesday afternoon for a brush fire in Forest Park.

Several emergency vehicles, and even a helicopter, responded to the area of 90th Street and Park Lane South shortly before 3 p.m. to extinguish the fire near the tennis courts.

According to a police officer on the scene, the fire was not being considered suspicious.

A spokesman for the FDNY said the department would be conducting its own investigation.
