A small, eight-story condo building with space for retail in Long Island City is under construction.
Located at 42-44 Crescent St. , the building will have just 12 units spanning 10,435 square feet, according to plans filed with the Department of Buildings. The ground floor retail space will measure 2,060 square feet. The small lot ― a total of 2,500 square feet and 25 feet wide ― sits near the Queensboro Bridge and the bustling Jackson Avenue, YIMBY first reported.
Transportation options in the area include the E, M, R and 7 trains. Cultural institutions such as The Secret Theatre, MoMA PS1 and Silvercup Studios are also a short distance away.
Angelo and Anthony Ng’s Architects’ Studio is responsible for the white, glassy design. Flushing-based Andy Ho is the developer.
