With the Memorial Day weekend finally here, many people are thinking about the beginning of summer and the opening of area beaches. But we should never forget that Memorial Day is not just about a day off work and barbecues. It is also about honoring the men and women who have served to protect our country and its citizens.
One local business owner is remembering that meaning and saying thank you to our service members by offering any veteran a FREE combo meal at Arby’s locations in Fresh Meadows, Middle Village, Lindenhurst and Bellmore this Monday, May 30.
Clarke Restaurants, owner of these four Arby’s, has been giving back to and getting involved in the community for many years. This outreach effort enforces their appreciation for those who sacrificed and defended the USA.
The FREE combo meal offer is only available on May 30, 2016 to veterans who show proof of service, can not be combined with any other offers, and is only available at the Middle Village, Fresh Meadows, Lindenhurst and Bellmore locations. No other purchase is necessary (although it would be appreciated).
