Authorities were searching for an unidentified male in connection with an assault in Jamaica that occurred Friday in the 103rd Precinct.
Police said a 19-year-old victim was involved in a dispute with the suspect at 190-34 Jamaica Ave. who stabbed him in the back with a sharp object before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was in stable condition, police said.
The suspect is described as an 18- to 20-year-old man wearing a dark sweatshirt and glasses, according to police.
