Camping in style on Rockway beach

In the Rockaways’ Gateway National Park, just over the Gil Hodges Bridge from Brooklyn, camping has arrived.

It is a cut above the usual roughing it. At Camp Rockaway, the tents are already built on platforms and the cots come with pillows and sheets.

Costs range from $120-150 a night, but you have to hurry — the camp closes Nov. 6.
