Man wanted for grand larceny in Flushing

Police were searching for a man suspected of grand larceny in Flushing.

According to police, a 41-year old livery cab driver picked up the suspect near Sanford Avenue and Main Street on Sept. 14 at 11:20 a.m. and drove him to Chinatown in Manhattan.

Police said the victim then drove the suspect from Chinatown to a residential building near 135th Street and 39th Avenue in Flushing.

Once at the building, the suspect asked the victim to enter the building and retrieve his property. Police said the victim complied and when he returned to his cab, the suspect fled the location with $700 and three of the victim’s credit cards.

Police described the suspect as a male Asian with medium complexion, between 25 and 30 years old, with brown hair, brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt.
