Over the course of six weeks a thin white man around the age of 20 to 25 is suspected of carrying out three burglaries in Ridgewood, according to police.
The crimes were committed within the confines of the 104th Precinct on Aug. 20, Aug. 29 and Sept. 26.
On all three occasions the suspect attempted to steal a bicycle in a residential building and was successful in his first two burglaries, according to the NYPD.
The first burglary occurred at night at the vicinity located between Gates Ave. and Cypress Ave., according to authorities. The second robbery occurred between Forest Avenue and Grove Street. The attempted burglary in the last building occurred at 60th Place and Palmetto Street.
In the first incident the suspect fled to Fresh Pond Road, according to police. The police and witnesses were not able to determine where the suspect fled in the other two incidents.
