Queens detectives are looking for three men connected to a botched robbery that ended with two people shot and wounded.

On Wednesday night, police released images of two suspects involved in the shooting that occurred at about 2:10 a.m. on Sept. 29 near a playground at the corner of 138th Street and 91st Avenue in Jamaica.

According to law enforcement sources, the two victims — both men, ages 21 and 26 — were approached by the two perpetrators and a third man, identified only as Carlos.

Cops said the three suspects then attempted to remove property from both victims, displaying a firearm in the process. But the robbery turned bad, police reported, and the suspects opened fire — striking the 21-year-old man in the left leg, and the 26-year-old man in the left and right legs.

Following the shooting, authorities said, the three assailants entered a green GMC Envoy that sped away from the location westbound along 91st Avenue.

The incident was reported to the 103rd Precinct. EMS rushed both victims to Jamaica Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

Year-to-date through Sept. 29, the 103rd Precinct reported 16 shootings, up from 10 tallied at the same point in 2023, according to the most recent CompStat report. Robberies in the command are also up 17.8%.

Both suspects shown in the NYPD images are described as males with medium builds and medium complexion. Carlos, who is not photographed, was also described as a man with a medium complexion and a medium build.
