Bayside Yankees capture CABA World Series crown
The Bayside Yankee Senior Americans defeated the Midland Indians (OH), 6-2, Thursday in the championship game of the 2003 Continental Amateur Baseball Association Senior World Series in Houston.
Arts groups get funding through Queens Council
Queens Community Arts Fund, a program of the Queens Council on the Arts, has been awarded more than $96,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts to grant out to the community for cultural programming.
