With the holiday season quickly approaching, time to get gifts for loved ones is rapidly dwindling.
This weekend is opening weekend for the Queens Holiday Market at The Shops at Atlas Park in Glendale, open every Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will also be a Friday night market on Dec. 4 from 6 to 10 p.m. in conjunction with the Queens Holiday Market-hosted tree lighting celebration.
The largest market in Queens brings handcrafted items, vintage and antiques, artwork, and foods and sweets from around the world, all in one amazing 22,000-square-foot space. Grab a beer from the All-Queens Beer Garden and listen to live music while shopping for unique gift items for everyone on your list.
LIC Flea & Food fans will be happy to see some of their favorites on board for another holiday season, including Sam’s Fried Ice Cream, Dutch Kills Klotheing, Fiza Fashion and Jessy’s Empanadas.
Make sure to check out these vendors at the Queens Holiday Night Market:

Wilk Apiary
A truly local “mom-and-pop” operation, Wilk Apiary was started in 2012 to help save honeybees in their urban Queens environment. Barbara Wilk is the president and her husband, Tom, is the head beekeeper and VP. They keep 24 honeybee colonies thriving in seven different Queens locations. Currently they have apiaries in Ridgewood, Glendale, Maspeth, Long Island City and Astoria. The honey collected from their hives in Queens is bottled with the specific ZIP code where those honeybees reside. This gives honey lovers a true taste of a hyper-local, raw, natural honey.
