Two men were found dead after their vehicle flipped over a guardrail along the Grand Central Parkway in Queens on Monday morning, police said.
According to the FDNY, officials responded to the scene at about 8:40 a.m., when a BMW was found within some trees near Astoria and Ditmars Boulevards. Two males were found in the vehicle, which landed about 50 feet away from the guardrail.
A spokesperson for the NYPD said the men, whose identities have not been released, were pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear how they car ended up overturned behind the guardrail.
The investigation is ongoing.
