Cops continue to seek the ATV driver involved in a Ridgewood crash last week that wound up claiming the life of a 65-year-old bicyclist.

Law enforcement sources said the accident occurred at 12:47 a.m. on Aug. 28, when Eucario Xelo, 65, of Hooper Street in Brooklyn was riding his bike westbound along Seneca Avenue approaching Woodbine Street.

Authorities said he was then approached from behind by a group of two- and four-wheel vehicles. The lead rider, on board a four-wheel ATV, then slowed down and veered toward Xelo, knocking the man off his bike to the ground.

The group of riders then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 104th Precinct and EMS units responded to a 911 call about the collision and found Xelo lying in the road way, unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics rushed him to Elmhurst Hospital, where he died on Sept. 1.

No arrests have been made; the NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is handling the case.

Anyone with information regarding the deadly collision should call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA), visit the Crime Stoppers website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
