Beaten Jamaica boy leaves hospital for rehab

Mohammed Arsalan Malik, the 12-year-old Jamaica boy who was attacked and then left unconscious on the sidewalk with a fractured skull a block from his home on Dec. 20, was discharged from Mary Immaculate Hospital Friday.

Arsalan Malik, surrounded by his parents and sister, was all smiles as he thanked everyone who had helped him. His parents said they wanted to take their son home and were grateful their ordeal was almost over.
