Police in Richmond Hill are searching for the perverted bus rider who sexually assaulted a woman last week, authorities confirmed.
According to police sources, the assault happened at about 7 a.m. on May 1, when a 26-year-old woman rode a Q37 bus near Park Lane South and Metropolitan Avenue.
Law enforcement sources said the sicko approached her during the early morning ride and launched the attack.
“You have nice boobs,” the creep remarked as he grabbed the victim’s chest, sources familiar with the investigation reported. Though shaken up, the woman did not suffer any physical injuries as a result of the assault.
The perpetrator apparently hightailed it on foot at the last stop on Union Turnpike at Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens. The incident was reported to the 102nd Precinct.
Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect in hopes he will be recognized and brought to justice. They described the perpetrator as a man wearing glasses and a blue sweatshirt.
