The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Major League prospect tied for second in the PSAL with seven home runs and was fifth in RBIs with 41.
Guzman finished his career batting .518 with 12 stolen bases and helped John Adams reach the quarterfinals this season playing shortstop, outfield and pitcher. His fastball has been clocked in the 90’s and his throwing arm from the outfield reminds people of a young Andruw Jones.
“Carlos can do it all,” said Adams’ coach Glenn Beyer. “He is one of the finest five-tool players I’ve seen at the high school level. He can think the game just as well as he can play it.”
