19-year-old Shot in Torso
A 19-year-old male was shot on Saturday, December 30 at the corner of Linden Boulevard and 217th Street. Police received a 911 call at 6:23 p.m.
After arriving on the scene, responding officers discovered the male, who had been shot once in the torso. He was taken to Mary Immaculate Hospital where he was in critical condition.
The suspect, a male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, fled on foot. Currently there have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
Man Missing Found Dead
David Serrette, a 72-year-old man from Laurelton who went missing, was fund dead at Laurelton Parkway and Francis Lewis Boulevard on January 2.
He was last seen on Thursday, December 28 near his home by Laurelton Parkway and Francis Lewis Boulevard at 10 p.m.
There is no criminality suspected in his death. An investigation is ongoing.
