Forest Hills Library Reopens

Lenore R. Gall, Queens Library Trustee; Frank Gulluscio, District Manager for Community Board 6; City Councilmember Melinda Katz; and Tom Galante, Director of Queens Library (left to right); along with local school children from P.S. 144 cut the ribbon to reopen the Forest Hills branch on Friday, January 26. Katz allocated $140,000 for the renovations done at Forest Hills, which provided for the installation of new windows, doors, fencing, as well as the creation of a Quiet Room, along with many other improvements to the facility.
