Timmy Lee Walker — convicted in January of second-degree murder, kidnapping, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon – was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison last Thursday, Brown said.A spokeswoman for Brown said Walker will spend at least 50 years in jail -25 years for armed robbery and another 25 year for second-degree murder – and at the earliest could be released from prison when he is 83 years old. The sentence was imposed by Queens Supreme Court Judge Arthur Cooperman.Walker's sentence stemmed from an incident that unfolded in September 2004 in the basement of a crack house located at 131-26 140th St. in Jamaica. Brown said Walker robbed James Hubbard, 48, at gunpoint at the home. Brown said that about an hour after the robbery, Hubbard returned to the basement with his 22-year-old stepson Tony Brunson and a friend. The three men planned to confront Walker and avenge the robbery, Brown said.When the three men rushed into the basement, Walker shot Brunson four times, including once in the heart, killing him, Brown said. Hubbard was also shot once in the right thigh.
