Officers honored at 109th Pct.

Michael S. Limb, Executive Chair of the Asian American Council of New York, presented awards to several detectives who apprehended a suspect in the recent Lunar New Year slaying of restaurant worker Zhang Hong Qui. Limb praised the cops and the 109th Precinct on Wednesday, March 14, for their work in catching 21-year-old Kendall Walker, who has been charged with the stabbing. Several of the officers - Sergeant Joseph Manfredi and Detectives Robert Zee, Cecil Weatherly, Brian McGuire, Christopher Austin, and Michael Heffernan - were not able to be at ceremony because they had worked overnight on an investigation.
