Man shot dead in South Ozone Park after sending money to his family

Courtney Atkinson, 51, was shot dead on April 4. According to reports, he had just wired $200 to his daughters in Jamaica when he was killed on 126th Street in South Ozone Park, just blocks from his home. Police are asking for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
