Parker Jewish Institute of Health Care & Rehabilitation appointed Stuart B. Almer as Executive Vice President in a promotion recognizing his achievements in developing new strategic partnerships, continued growth of community health programs, providing outpatient services, physical and occupational therapy, community hospice, Alzheimer’s daycare and encompassing adult day health care.
Previously the Vice President of Administration and Administrator-of-Record, Almer has guided the reorganization of the Institute’s clinic operations and Quality Management Program resulting in improved efficiency and increased patient satisfaction.
Almer, a resident of Plainview, earned an MBA in Hospital Management from Adelphi University. Prior to Parker, Almer held administrative positions at Peninsula Hospital Center and North Shore University Hospital.
Christopher A. Ferreri has been named Vice President for Administration at Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care & Rehabilitation. Ferreri has served as Assistant Vice President and Associate Vice President of Administration with operating responsibilities in pharmacy, facilities management, purchasing/materials management, security and building services.
Ferreri recently provided project management to a facility-wide modernization and renovation program and was integral to Parker’s successful implementation of the Medicare Park D prescription drug plan for the facility and its residents.
A resident of Melville, Ferreri earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from New York University and held positions at Mount Sinai Hospital and New York University Hospital Center.
