Council Member Jennifer Gutiérrez, in collaboration with Rufin French Yoga and the Greater Ridgewood Restoration Corporation, has announced the return of the popular “Yoga at Grover” program to Grover Cleveland Playground in Ridgewood.

Now in its fourth year, this community initiative offers free yoga classes designed to promote health and community bonding among District 34 residents.

The “Yoga at Grover” sessions are scheduled for the mornings of May 4, May 11, May 18, and June 1 at 10 a.m.. These events will take place at the volleyball court of Grover Cleveland Playground, at Stanhope St & Grandview Ave.

The program aims to attract participants of all yoga levels and provides an inclusive, engaging, and relaxing experience.

Past sessions have seen up to 40 participants per class, and with the program’s growing popularity, early arrival is encouraged. The first 150 attendees at each session will receive free yoga mats. Additionally, complimentary snacks and refreshments will be available.

Classes are led by experienced yoga instructors, ensuring that both beginners and seasoned practitioners can benefit from attending.

Residents interested in participating are encouraged to mark their calendars and join the community for these refreshing Saturday morning sessions. For more details, please contact the office of Council Member Jennifer Gutiérrez at 718-963-3141.
