A 32-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a woman on the “F” train platform after trying to steal her handbag.
Matthew Corchado has been charged with assault in the first degree, robbery in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon for stabbing a 51-year-old victim in the head and right shoulder. She was taken to Mary Immaculate Hospital in stable condition.
