Joseph B. Gianono Sr.

Joseph B. Gianono Sr. of Rosedale passed away on October 8.
He was a proud WW II Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He started his professional career at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and was subsequently promoted to administration, contracts and procurements. He later retired from the City of New York HHA.
Beloved husband of the late Gilda Mary. Devoted father of Joseph, Frank (Rosemarie). Cherished grandfather of Joseph and Daniel. Dear brother of Ruth Grasso (Frank).
Arrangements were handled by the Moore Funeral Home in Valley Stream. A funeral Mass was held at Holy Name of Mary R.C. Church in Valley Stream. Interment was at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn.
