Marshall spread word on CUNY

Borough President Helen Marshall encouraged local youngsters to think about getting a college degree from the City University of New York recently, as the “CUNY on Wheels” bus made a stop at the Queens Library college fair on Merrick Boulevard in Jamaica.
Marshall, a former early-education teacher, participated in the program on Friday, October 12, as part of her “commitment to all aspects of education.”
She provided funds for the roving registration vehicle, which brings information about the colleges in the City University system and the courses they offer, into different communities.
