Shooting In Bar Leaves One Dead

A woman is dead following a shooting in a bar on Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights. A man was also injured in the fracas.
According to police, two unidentified men entered the location at 95-02 Roosevelt Avenue on Monday morning, December 17 and opened fire.
They struck a 24-year-old woman in the back and a 23-year-okd man in the right arm.
The suspects fled the scene in a dark colored car.
Both victims were taken to Elmhurst General Hospital, where the woman was pronounced dead and the man was listed in stable condition.
There have been no arrests made and an investigation is ongoing.
