Woman Shot Dead, Suspects Sought

Two unidentified Hispanic males opened fire in a Jackson Heights bar early Monday morning, leaving a Corona woman dead and a man injured, according to police.

Just after 2:00 a.m. on Monday, December 17, police responded to a call of shots fired inside Tulcingo Cafe at 95-02 Roosevelt Avenue. The two suspects fled the scene in a dark vehicle after shooting 24-year-old Adrena Valderradama in the back and a 23-year-old Hispanic male in the right arm.

Both victims were transported to Elmhurst General Hospital, where Valderradama was pronounced dead on arrival. The other victim is in stable condition, police said, noting that no arrests have been made thus far.
