Two-alarm Jamaica fire injures 8 firefighters

The blaze began shortly after 6 p.m. at 160-13 108th Ave., a FDNY spokesman said. The fire was put under control around 7:30 p.m. None of the residents in the 2–story dwelling were hurt, according to the FDNY. The cause was under investigation.
