At a news conference at City Hall, Monserrate called for more resources to help with the investigation of Reyna De Los Santos, who has not been seen since she stormed out of her home after a fight with her husband, Edwin Fuentes, last year. Monserrate also called for police to expedite DNA testing of the bones.Monserrate and De Los Santos's family believe she was murdered.”Reyna's family, friends and the community at large need closure,” Monserrate said in a statement. “The family deserves the same treatment as families in other communities have received.”Marisol De Los Santos, the missing woman's sister, said she spent the intervening months flying back and forth between the United States and her family's native Dominican Republic, looking for her sister.
