Calvary holds Trusts and Estates Conference

Calvary Hospital held its 5th Annual Trusts and Estates Conference on October 7, which included a panel focusing on ethics.
The conference was held at The Princeton Club of New York and was attended by more than 200 attorneys. This year’s topic of discussion was “Who is Your Client? Ethical Considerations When Representing Multiple Parties in Estate Proceedings.”
Presentations were given by John R. Morken, Esq., a partner with Farrell Fritz, P.C. and Gary B. Freidman, Esq., who is a partner with Greenfield Stein & Senior, LLP.
In addition, there was a mock SCPA section 1404 examination during the conference. The panelists who participated in it were Frank Streng, Esq., a partner with McCarthy Fingar LLP; Andrea Hyde, Esq., a partner with Putney, Twombly, Hall & Hirson LLP; Arlene Harris, Esq., special counsel with Kaye Scholer; and Joseph M. Accetta, Esq., a court attorney and referee with Westchester County Surrogate’s Court.
The 5th Annual Trusts and Estates Conference was developed by the Professional Advisors Council of the Calvary Fund of Calvary Hospital.
