RIDGEWOOD — A 30−year−old Brooklyn man was arrested after he allegedly broke into a Ridgewood home and stole a number of pieces of electronic equipment, the Queens district attorney said.
Ramon Colon, of Brooklyn, was arraigned Saturday on charges of burglary and criminal trespass, Queens DA Richard Brown said.
A number of items were missing from the home, including computer, video game and cable television equipment, Brown said.
The victim found an apple juice container on her living room floor that did not belong to her, the DA said. Police used the container to recover a DNA sample, which led to Colon’s arrest, the DA said.
