Borough President Helen Marshall (third from right), City Councilmembers Leroy Comrie (fourth from right) and James Sanders (fifth from right)?and Queens Library CEO Thomas Galante (second from right) joined community and government leaders on Wednesday, September 2 to officially re-open the Library’s South Hollis branch on Hollis Avenue. The $1.5 million renovation, which included $500,000 from Comrie, provided a new young adult/teen area, more computers and new décor and furnishings for the children’s area.
