Marijuana bust

Thirty-year-old William Adams was charged with 71 counts of growing the plant known as cannabis by an unlicensed person as well as three counts of unlawful possession of marijuana after officers of the 106th Precinct executed a search warrant inside the home at 94th Street and 134th Avenue on September 1.
Cops turned up 71 marijuana plans, lights and other paraphernalia. Adams, who had been arrested previously, including on a drug charge, was arraigned on September 2 and released on his own reconnaissance, according to the district attorney’s office. His next court date is October 15.
